5 and 7 chasing American Independence and the world history

On this American Independence Day I thought to go back in history and see how American fought for its Independence but my bad trait of playing with statistics came to fore and I got lost somewhere else. Would you like to know where I got lost?
1757 -- British won the Battle of Plassey to start their stint in Indian subcontinent
1775 -- Start of the War of Independence for what we call America now. Doesn't this look like British had some kind of premonition that they are going to lose the big continent and so they took a move to secure another side of the planet to keep their supremacy for some more time?
1857 - Indian war for Independence took center stage. Another big Democracy was in the making.
1875 -- The Congress in United States passed a law that prohibited racial Discrimination in public accommodations. This was the first of its kind that was going to change the world around us forever.
1957 -- The first satellite to go in space. Nobody knew at that time that this is going to change our lives again - My telephone, internet, TV and even my safety is provided by it now.
1975 -- Altair 8800 is released, starting the era of what we call information technology now. Information technology is now the most sought-after job, the mother of all entertainment and the most wonderful tool for any research around the globe.

57 and 75 were playing a strange game since the last 250 years!!

Every time to give a strange twist to our lives. What is next? What will happen in 2057? Will I have a miniature nuclear power generator (instead of a power distribution meter) at my home to power everything and no failure of power? Will we be able to find an alternative to petrol, like saline water? Or will the miniature nuclear power generator will come to my rescue again here also? Oh God! what is going to happen next?
